1. Who we are
Detoxifyglownew is a small editorial studio based at Amiraplatz 3, 80333 München, Germany. We publish written guides on evening habits. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
2. The personal information we collect
We try to ask for as little personal information as possible. The categories below are the only categories we handle.
2.1 Contact form data
When you complete the contact form, we receive the name you provide, your email address, the content of your message, and the date and time the form was submitted. We also store your consent confirmation as a small technical record.
2.2 Email correspondence
If you write to us directly by email, we receive the information contained in your message, including any attachments and the email address you write from.
2.3 Technical website data
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including approximate IP address ranges, browser type, requested pages and response codes. These logs help us keep the website online and secure.
3. Why we use your information (legal basis)
- To answer your messages — based on your consent and our legitimate interest in providing the support you asked for.
- To send order details and printed items — based on the performance of the agreement once you place an order.
- To keep the website secure — based on our legitimate interest in preventing abuse and protecting readers.
- To comply with legal duties — for example tax records when an order is placed.
4. How long we keep your information
Messages from the contact form are kept for up to twenty-four months and then deleted, unless the conversation became an order — in which case we keep the order details for the period required by German commercial and tax law. Server logs are kept for a maximum of fourteen days.
5. Who can see your information
Only the two members of the studio read messages. We use trusted service providers for email delivery, website hosting and printing. These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
6. International transfers
Our website is hosted within the European Economic Area. Some of our service providers operate globally; when data leaves the EEA, we rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.
7. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you may request access to your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, and ask for a copy of the data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to us using the address on the Contacts page. We will reply within one calendar month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence. In Germany, this is the data protection authority of the federal state in which you live.
8. Children
Our guides are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under sixteen. If you believe a child has shared data with us, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Cookies
We use only a small browser storage record to remember your cookie notice choice. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies. For more information, see our Cookies Policy.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access to our email inbox, two-factor authentication for studio accounts and regular backups. While no service can guarantee absolute security, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
11. Updates to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will publish them on this page and update the date at the top. We encourage you to revisit the page before sending a new message.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent through the Contacts page or by writing to the studio address listed there.
